Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst GmbH & Co. KG
Expert

Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst develops and produces mechanical and electronic key systems, lock sets, steering locks and remote control systems for the automotive industry.

Founded in 1908 in Velbert, the company first supplied lock sets to Mercedes Benz (now Daimler AG) in 1920. Today, Huf has approx. 4,800 employees located in 16 countries worldwide.

In 2011, Huf acquired the tire pressure monitoring business that Borg Warner had purchased when it acquired the Beru diesel cold start and ignition systems business in 2005. This Beru business included a manufacturing facility in Bretten, Germany, which employed approximately 230 people at the time.

Therefore, documents submitted by Beru in connection with the tire monitoring business are now linked to the Huf group.
