Paper analyzing issues underlying accidents involving motorized agricultural vehicles (MAV). Originally presented to the Working Party on Lighting and Light signalling as document GRE-69-02 and reproduced here for discussion during the first AVLI informal group session.

Although, in Germany, motorized agricultural vehicles (MAV) are few, an above-average number of people are seriously injured or killed in accidents involving these vehicles, and MAV are more often the main cause of the accident. This paper analyzes the issues involved such accidents.
